another award for Mirvac’s EY Centre

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) recently announced the winners of the 16th annual CTBUH Awards Program.

Among the winners was Mirvac and its now much-lauded EY Centre, which picked up the ‘Construction Award’.

According to the CTBUH, this award recognises construction excellence in a tall building project, made evident by superior quality in construction, significant technical innovations, the proficient execution of a complicated or exacting design, a triumph over difficult conditions, or the documentation of superlative speed and efficiency.

Simon Healy, Mirvac’s general manager of Commercial Development, says , “By working with our partners, including architects Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp and workplace advisory firm Davenport Campbell, we were able to build a cutting-edge workplace with world-leading technology and innovative design. We are proud and delighted to have delivered a building that both enriches its communities and raises the bar for future workplaces in Australia.”
