WELLNESS BREAKFAST WITH NEILL JOHANSON
Wellbeing, mindfulness and personal health are becoming increasingly important issues within our workplaces. The Australian Bureau of Statistics has identified that 7 in 10 men and 1 in 2 women are overweight or obese, clearly we have a health crisis in our community.
At the Wellness Panel discussion breakfast hosted by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Neill Johanson from Davenport Campbell spoke about how well designed workplaces can improve people’s emotional and physical health but only when an organisation commits to programs that get people on their feet, eating good food and thinking positively about what they do. Personal accountability is just as important as we each have a role to play in maintaining our own wellbeing as well as the people we work with.
