AUGMENTING HUMAN INTERACTION

Mirvac general manager corporate solutions commercial Max Wilson, who is overseeing the headquarters at 200 George Street, explains that the main role of a new office is around “augmenting human interaction”.

“We design work spaces to be inclusive rather than exclusive… It’s less about building a homogenous space that a company must fit into, and more about making the building work specifically for the tenant. From emerging technology, and the demand for better food and drink, to the need for shared spaces and the rise of mixed-use developments where people will live, work and socialise in environments that blur the boundaries, are all key trends that will shape the workplace requirements for the future”.
